Per-network hashtags mappings

Different networks may use different hashtags in terms of their popularity. One such example is Elixir hashtag - on Bluesky people use #ElixirLang whereas on other networks #MyElixirStatus is more popular. Because of this, it would be quite useful to define mappings, ie: Bsky: #Elixir β†’ #ElixirLang Mastodon and LinkedIn: #Elixir β†’ #ElixirStatus

Schedule first comment on Linkedin

It is a common strategy among many people to write a valuable post and then post as the first comment a link to a blog or an external website. While Linkedin does not say they are penalizing links in posts, there are many people that tried to test Linkedin algorithm and found out that adding a first comment with the link works better than putting the link in the post. It could be that the act of publishing the first comment quicly is the one that pushes the posts up and not the link itself, but there is evidence that posting the first link is a good strategy on Linkedin. So I think it would be a benefit to have this feature.

Configurable delay between publishing posts in a thread

I think it could be nice to be able to configure somewhere a delay between publishing each post from a thread on any social network that supports this. For example: I would like maybe to have 1-2 seconds delay between publishing each post in a thread. This helps with: Makes the thread to stay longer in the feeds of people (no matter if they are a timeline or some other algorithm) I think it helps a lot more with the timeline feeds: because in the timeline once a user misses a post if they follow many other people it is harder to rediscover it Helps even with algorithmic feeds (like Twitter one or other algorithms from Bluesky) that takes into consideration the reactions/replies to a post

Make it more obvious that a URL gets removed for Bsky/LinkedIn

This is a follow-up to https://justcrosspost.featurebase.app/p/automatically-remove-a-link-thats-used-for-embedded-link-cards When you paste a URL, a little dropdown tooltip should show up like in Notion asking you what you want to do with that URL. Options will be: Paste as-is including it in the post content Create a URL card and remove it for Bsky/LinkedIn This way it will become obvious what’s happening with URLs.

Mentions without links should appear without the "@" prefix

When I write a post for multiple sites, I want it to appear as naturally as possible in each place. I try to use mentions when I can, since that’s the β€œnative” thing to do. But when there is a mention that doesn’t correspond to an account on a site, it shows up as its plain text name with an β€œ@” prefix. For example: β€œ@Some Person”. This formatting, IMO, is entirely unnatural. I’d never personally author the text like that, so it discourages me from using mentions or JCP entirely. If that β€œ@” was removed, then I think everything would be dandy. I can write the person’s proper name as the Profile Name, and that would appear naturally in the post text. Is this possible to do? You could also leave a bit of hint text underneath the β€œProfile Name” field to say that is what will appear when no mention is available.

Partially published: X daily limit exceeded

I got this message today when trying to post to X. Not questioning here the fact that there is a limit or what is the limit, but it's not clear to me from the interface whether the X post will be retried or when. What happens when the cross post to a given network fails like this? Will it be retried automatically later?
